Color Story: Blush and Ivory

I've always drawn inspiration from vintage lingerie. That's probably why I've collected so much over the years. I love the soft colors, especially the blush and ivory color combination!

I could fill this post with images of vintage lingerie alone! To simply choose one, this vintage 1940's Beau Femme nightgown is a prime example of the soft femininity this color story gives us.

My love affair with this color duo doesn't stop at lingerie. The soft blush tones on these roses is magnificent. Such an inspiration, so hard to duplicate!

This color story is perfect for weddings! One of my top selling garter sets is the blush and ivory Ma Cherie set.

And why stop there!  Isn't this wedding cake gorgeous?

And finally, blush and ivory is always lady like. I chose this color way for my hand crocheted gloves Lady Bows, because it gives them an antique feel that they just sort of ask for.
