Shop News: Heading to the Tropics!

After a brief hiatus in June to get "life things" in order (like completing a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and taking the summer to dedicating my time to Bobbins and Bombshells full time!) I am back to listing new handmade and vintage items in the shop! Summer is my full on vintage season- where not only do I wear more vintage personally but also am sourcing and listing vintage in the shop like crazy. Behind the scenes I am busy making hand knit accessories for Fall/ Winter and bridal accessories for next Spring! Bobbins and Bombshells is like 3 businesses rolled into one and I couldn't be happier to finally have time to dedicate to it in the best way possible!

So, you're probably wondering why this post is titled Heading to the Tropics. I certainly have no time for a break but I hope you do! And if not, I have some fabulous vintage listings that can at least make us feel a little bit more tropical this summer. So order up a Pina Colada and have a look at what's new!

The Blue Honolulu Dress

Gorgeous vintage 1980s blue floral Holomu'u dress complete with ruffles and train! Wear on or off shoulder and get ready for the luau!

The Green Goddess Gown

Vintage 1970's Lilli Diamond stunning matte jersey maxi dress. I love the beading on the neckline! This is one of my favorite finds!

The Paradise Found Dress

Vintage late 1960s Shannon Rodgers for Jerry Silverman. Whoa! Love this dress, the silk jersey print, and that front drape extension. Glamorous!

The Francine Purse

This purse reminds me of those tiki / Hawaiian mugs- plastic coated woven detail, you know? Except this is a Garay and has a subtle element of gold lurex woven in. Perfect accessory for Tiki Oasis in August!

Well, bombshells, I hope you are having a fabulous summer! I'll be here listing more vintage and mixing up Mai Tais when the work day is done. Sign up for my newsletter (coming soon!) for more shop announcements and exclusive discounts!
